Company Swiss Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. round steak (about 1 inch thick)
    1/2 c. flour
    2 medium onions, chopped
    2 carrots, chopped
    2 stalks celery
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 green pepper, cut in strips
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 clove garlic
    1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms
    1 can beef broth
    1/2 tsp. paprika
    1 (1 lb.) can stewed tomatoes, cut in small pieces
Preparation
    Cut steak in pieces.
    Pound salt and flour in each side. Brown in oil; cook onion until limp.
    Add all other ingredients except mushrooms.
    Simmer 1 hour covered.
    Add mushrooms.
    Cook additional 30 minutes.
    Should be watched; may need more liquid. Add wine or water.
