Onion Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 large onions
    1/2 c. butter
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1 1/2 qt. water
    8 beef bouillon cubes
    1 loaf French bread
    1/2 lb. Mozzarella cheese
Preparation
    Brown onions in butter.
    Sprinkle lightly with flour.
    Add hot water and bouillon cubes.
    Simmer 20 minutes.
    Toast French bread and cut into pieces.
    Place toasted bread on bottom of bowl; fill bowl with soup.
    Put a handful of grated cheese on top of soup. Place bowls of soup under broiler until cheese melts.
    Serves 6.
