Peanut Crunch Toffee - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. chopped roasted peanuts
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. white Karo syrup
    2 Tbsp. water
    1/3 c. grated white and chocolate dipping chocolate
Preparation
    In a 1 1/2 quart saucepan melt butter or margarine over medium-high heat.
    Immediately
    begin
    to
    stir
    in sugar with wooden spoon, also add syrup
    and water at this time.
    Cook to hard crack stage, candy
    will
    turn golden brown color.
    Cover bottom of long baking dish\twith half of nuts and white chocolate. Pour hot syrup
    over
    this;
    put\tremaining
    nuts
    and chocolate on top of hot candy.
    Cool.
    Break in pieces.
