Poor Man'S Lobster - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 qt. water (6 c.)
    1/4 c. salt
    1/4 c. sugar
    2 lb. fresh or frozen torsk
    butter or margarine
    paprika
Preparation
    In large pot, bring water, salt and sugar to a boil.
    Remove from heat.
    Add torsk.
    Cover and let stand for 15 minutes.
    Drain carefully.
    Pat torsk dry with paper towel and place on foil-lined broiler pan or 15 x 18-inch jelly roll pan.
    Butter generously and sprinkle with paprika.
    Broil 3 to 4 inches for 5 to 10 minutes, until lightly browned.
    Serve immediately with melted butter. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
