Lemon Ice Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 qt. water
    3/4 c. lemon juice
    1 large can pineapple juice
    1 qt. ginger ale
Preparation
    Combine water and sugar in a pan; boil for 5 minutes.
    Let stand and cool.
    Add lemon juice.
    Freeze in ice trays or mold 2 or 3 days in advance.
    When ready to serve, add ice mixture to the pineapple juice and ginger ale.
    Serves 30.
    Use medium punch bowl.
