Fresh Peach Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    2 c. peeled diced peaches
    1 egg
    1 c. milk
    1/2 stick oleo, melted
    3/4 c. sugar
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
    Sift flour, salt, baking powder and sugar together.
    Beat egg well.
    Add milk and melted oleo.
    Add this to flour mixture.
    Stir just enough to combine (do not overmix).
    Fold in diced peaches.
    Pour batter into greased tins, filling 2/3 full.
    Bake 20 minutes or until golden brown.
    Makes about 2 dozen muffins.
