Mushroom Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 to 10 slices bread, buttered and cut into 1-inch squares
    2 1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced and sauteed
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 c. chopped green pepper
    2 c. mayonnaise
    2 c. milk
    4 eggs
    salt and pepper
    1/2 tsp. dry mustard
    2 cans cream of mushroom soup
    1/2 c. buttered bread crumbs or grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Butter a 9 x 13-inch casserole. Place half the bread squares on bottom.
    Place half the sauteed mushrooms on bread.
    Combine chopped vegetables with mayonnaise.
    Spread half this mixture over the mushrooms.
    Repeat layers.
    Mix milk, eggs and seasonings. Pour over top.
    Cover and refrigerate overnight.
