Christmas Cream Cheese Turnovers - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (8 oz.) pkg. soft cream cheese
1 c. soft butter
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sifted flour
pinch of salt
1 can cherry pie filling
powdered sugar
Preparation

Blend cream cheese and butter in bowl.
Stir in vanilla.
Add flour and salt; mix well.
Place in refrigerator for 1 hour.
Roll out thin on floured surface.
Cut into 2-inch squares.
Place 2 cherries from cherry pie filling in center of each square.
Fold over and seal edges.
Place on greased baking sheet.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
Cool and dust with powdered sugar.
Makes about 4 dozen turnovers.
