Jello Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 oz. jello (any flavor)
    1 c. boiling water
    7 oz. ginger ale or lemon-lime soda, chilled
    diced or sliced, drained canned or fresh fruit
Preparation
    Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
    Add soda and chill until thickened.
    Add fruit and pour into serving bowl or individual dessert dishes.
    Chill until set, about 1 hour.
    Garnish with whipped topping and fruit, if desired.
    Makes about 2 1/2 cups or 5 servings.
