Cheddar Spinach Spread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
    2 Tbsp. onion, chopped
    5 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled
    2 oz. sliced, canned mushrooms, chopped
    1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    parsley to taste
    seasoned pepper to taste
    1/8 tsp. minced garlic
    salt to taste
    1/16 tsp. paprika
    1/2 lb. fresh spinach
    1/4 lb. black olives
Preparation
    Saute onions and spinach in bacon grease until tender.
    Chop spinach.
    Mix all ingredients together and refrigerate overnight to blend flavors.
    Heat 30 to 45 minutes (in a small casserole dish) in 350\u00b0 oven.
    Garnish with black olives and a spinach leaf.
    Serve with Swiss cheese crackers.
    Makes 2 cups spread.
