Special Five Hour Stew - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. beef stew meat (lean)
4 carrots
4 potatoes
3 large onions
1 large can tomatoes
1 tomato can water
3 Tbsp. tapioca
1 Tbsp. sugar
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Spread stew meat over bottom of roaster or Dutch oven.
Cut vegetables into big chunks over meat.
Pour canned tomatoes and can of water over all.
Sprinkle with tapioca and seasonings. Cover and bake at 275\u00b0 for 4 hours. Then remove cover.
Stir and bake 1 hour longer.
Serve with tossed salad and rolls.
