Mr. Ross'S Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. chili ground beef
    1/2 lb. ground pork
    1 medium onion, chopped
    2 pkg. Durkee chili seasoning
    2 cans chili beans
    2 cans water (bean cans)
    1 c. tomato juice
    3 Tbsp. corn meal (rounded)
Preparation
    Cook meat and onion in open skillet until done.
    Drain off excess fat. Put meat, chili seasoning, beans, water and tomato juice in an open kettle and bring to a boil.
    Stir in cornmeal a little at a time.
    Salt to taste and cook over low fire for 30 minutes.
