Mixed Vegetable Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sliced carrots
    1 c. green beans cut into 2 inch lengths
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 1/4 c. onion thinly sliced
    1/2 tsp. basil
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 4 oz. can mushrooms sliced
    2 medium tomatoes peeled and cut into wedges
    1 4 oz. pkg. Mozzarella, cheddar and or Muenster cheese shredded
Preparation
    In large sauce pan, cook carrots and green beans in boiling water until crisp tender (or steam them).
    Drain.
    Place in 2 quart casserole.\tIn medium sauce pan, melt butter; add onion, herbs and mushrooms.\tSaute until tender.
    Spoon mixture over carrots and beans; top with tomato wedges and sprinkle with cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes, or until thoroughly heated.
    Yield:
    12 (1/2 c.) servings.
