Marinated Carrots - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. fresh carrots, peeled
    1 large green pepper, sliced
    1 large onion, sliced
    1 can tomato soup, undiluted
    1/2 c. salad oil
    3/4 c. sugar
    3/4 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. salt
    pinch of pepper
Preparation
    Cut carrots (thick slices). Cook just until tender and drain. Combine soup, sugar, oil, vinegar, salt and pepper.
    Bring to a boil until sugar is dissolved. Pour over carrots, green pepper and onion.
    Cover and chill in refrigerator. Can be served hot or cold.
