Yankee Doodle Dandies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. butterscotch pieces
    2 cans (3 oz. each) La Choy chow mein noodles
    1/2 c. chopped peanuts or cashews
Preparation
    Melt chocolate and butterscotch pieces in top of double boiler over hot water.
    Remove from heat.
    Quickly stir in chow mein noodles and chopped nuts until they are evenly coated.
    Drop by teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper. Chill.
    Store in refrigerator until ready to serve.
    Makes 36.
