Hot Mulled Cider - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 qt. cider
    1 tsp. whole allspice
    1 tsp. whole cloves
    3-inch cinnamon sticks
    dash of nutmeg
Preparation
    Combine sugar, salt and cider. Tie spices in small cheesecloth bag; add to cider mixture. Slowly bring to boil; simmer, covered, about 20 minutes. Use cinnamon sticks as muddlers. Makes 10 servings.
