Pizza - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    1/4 c. warm water
    2 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. shortening
    3/4 c. water
    4 c. flour
    2 Tbsp. oil
    2 (8 oz.) cans Italian style sauce
    2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
    oregano and pepper to taste
    8 oz. sliced pepperoni
    1 c. sliced mushrooms
    1 c. sliced olives (if desired)
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup lukewarm water.
    Combine sugar, salt, shortening, 3/4 cup water and 1 cup flour in a mixer bowl; beat until smooth.
    Add yeast mixture; mix well.
    Stir in enough remaining flour to make a stiff dough.
    Knead on a floured surface until smooth and elastic.
    Place in a greased bowl, turning to grease surface.
    Let rise, covered, in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in bulk.
    Divide dough into 2 portions.
    Roll each portion into a thin circle on a floured surface.
    Fit into 2 greased pizza pans.
    Brush with oil.
    Spread with tomato sauce. Sprinkle with Mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, mushrooms, olives and seasonings.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
