Icebox Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. hot water
    3/4 c. shortening
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 pkg. dry yeast
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/2 c. lukewarm water
    2 eggs, lightly beaten
    1 Tbsp. salt
    6 to 8 c. all-purpose flour or bread flour
Preparation
    Mix together hot water, shortening and sugar. Set aside to cool. Dissolve yeast and teaspoon sugar in lukewarm water. Add yeast mixture to first water mixture; add lightly beaten eggs and salt, then the flour 1 or 2 cups at a time. When thoroughly mixed, cover tightly and place in refrigerator overnight. Remove dough from refrigerator; punch down and knead a few times.
