Ripe Cucumber Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 lg. cucumbers (10 inches long)
    1/2 c. salt
    4 c. vinegar
    6 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. pickling spice (in cloth bag)
Preparation
    Peel cukes, take out seeds, and cut into pieces.
    Cover with salt and let stand over night.
    Drain and rinse with cold water, drain again.
