Seven-Up Date Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. chopped dates
7 oz. 7-Up
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1 egg
1 1/2 c. flour
pinch of salt
1/2 c. pecans
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Bring dates, 7-Up and baking soda to boil; set aside and let cool.
Mix remaining ingredients together.
Add to date mixture; beat well.
Pour into greased small loaf pan.
Bake 45 minutes at 350\u00b0.
