Corn Chowder - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 tsp. margarine
1/2 c. diced onion
1/2 c. diced celery
1 1/2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
1 1/2 c. skim milk
1 can cream-style corn
pinch of salt
pinch of powdered mustard
pinch of pepper
Preparation

Heat margarine in large saucepan until melted; stir in onion and celery.
Cover and cook until veggies are soft, then add flour and stir for about 1 minute longer.
Continuing to stir, add milk gradually; bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and cook, stirring continuously, until mixture is smooth and thick.
Add remaining ingredients; keep stirring and cooking until all ingredients are combined and mixture is hot.
Makes about 3 servings, 1 cup each. Takes about 1/2 hour to prepare.
