Puff Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. water
    1/2 c. butter or oleo
    1 c. sifted flour
    4 eggs
    chipped beef or fried bacon
    cheese (optional)
Preparation
    In a heavy pan bring water to a boil.
    Add butter and stir until butter melts.
    Add flour and salt.
    Reduce heat and stir continuously.
    Cool and add eggs, one at a time.
    Beat well after each egg is added, until batter is smooth and shiny.
    Turn half batter into mixing bowl.
