Nut-Date Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. butter
2 lb. pitted dates
2 c. sugar
8 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. self-rising flour
2 qt. pecans
Preparation

Cream butter well; add\tsugar gradually and cream until fluffy.
Add eggs and blend
well.\tFlour
dates and nuts; add flavoring and mix well.
Add
flour
a small amount at a time. Beat well each time until
smooth.\tBake 1 hour and 15 minutes in moderate oven, maybe a little longer until done.
