Southwest Pork Chops - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 large pork chops
2 Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1 (29 oz.) can tomatoes
1/4 tsp. parsley, chopped
2 tsp. chili powder
2 tsp. oregano
2 tsp. sugar (optional)
dash of pepper
4 medium onions, sliced
Preparation

Brown chops well on both sides in a large skillet.
Remove chops and pour off most of the fat.
Blend flour into remaining fat.
Put chops back in skillet and sprinkle with the salt, garlic powder and pepper.
Add 1/4 cup of water; cover and cook slowly for 35 minutes.
Add remaining ingredients; cover and continue cooking for 15 more minutes.
Serve over cooked rice.
Makes 4 servings.
