Beef Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. water
    1 c. sliced carrots
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 medium onion, cut up
    6 beef bouillon cubes
    3 medium potatoes, cubed
    1 large can tomatoes
    1/2 lb. hamburg, browned and chopped up
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 c. barley
Preparation
    Put first 6 ingredients in water and bring to boil.
    Simmer for 1 hour.
    Add tomatoes, meat, salt, pepper and barley. Continue on low heat for another 1/2 hour.
