Mary Jo'S (Sparks) Apple Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 large cooking apples
    1 c. cinnamon/sugar
    butter
    water
    1 c. flour
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 egg, well beaten
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Prepare apples as
    you
    would
    for pie.
    Put in pan and cover with cinnamon/sugar
    and
    pats
    of
    butter.
    Cover
    with enough water to
    start
    apples.
    Mix
    other
    ingredients
    with pastry blender until
    crumbly.
    Put mixture over apples covering apples completely.
    Cover
    pan with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes at 350\u00b0,
    then take off foil and bake for 25 to 30 minutes at 375\u00b0.
    When
    done,
    remove from oven and drizzle melted butter over apple crisp.
