Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
2/3 c. white Karo syrup
1/2 c. water
2 c. raw peanuts
pinch of salt
1 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation

Melt sugar, syrup and salt in water. Add peanuts and cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until peanuts are parched done. Add butter and vanilla. Stir in soda and pour in large greased cookie sheet.
As mixture begins to harden around edges, begin to pull thin.
