Dinner Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. flour
    1 c. hot water
    1 c. cold water
    2 cakes yeast
    5 Tbsp. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 Tbsp. salt
    3/4 c. shortening
Preparation
    Combine shortening, salt and sugar in bowl.
    Add hot water. Cool to lukewarm.
    In cold water, dissolve yeast cakes and add to mixture.
    Add eggs (well beaten), then 3 cups flour and mix well. Mix remaining flour.
    Stir thoroughly, but do not knead.
    Cover and put in refrigerator until ready to use.
    When you remove from refrigerator to use, should be double in bulk.
    Mash down with a little flour.
    Make out rolls.
    Let rise for 2 hours.
    Cook 15 to 20 minutes in 350\u00b0 oven.
    Brush tops with butter.
    Dough will keep, covered, several days in refrigerator.
