Quick-To-Fix Taco Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground turkey sausage or bulk pork sausage
    1 (11 oz.) can enchilada sauce
    1 (4 oz.) can diced green chili peppers, drained
    1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained
    1 small head lettuce, shredded (6 c.)
    1 (4 oz.) pkg. (1 c.) finely shredded Cheddar cheese
    dairy sour cream
    tortilla chips
Preparation
    In a large skillet, cook the turkey or pork sausage until browned.
    Drain off fat.
    Stir in enchilada sauce, drained chili peppers and drained mushrooms.
    Bring sausage mixture to boiling. Reduce heat.
    Simmer, uncovered, for 2 minutes.
