Billye'S T-Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 stick butter
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 egg
    2 c. plain flour
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream sugar and butter until light and fluffy.
    Add egg and flour, a little at a time, baking powder, nutmeg and vanilla; more flour may be needed to make a stiffer batter.
    (Roll out on flour sprinkled board and cut in shapes; may use a water glass to cut shapes.)
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until lightly brown.
    Makes 3 to 4 dozen.
