Hamburger Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 onion, chopped
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    2 lb. ground beef
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 large can mushrooms (stems and pieces)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 c. dairy sour cream
    poppy seed
Preparation
    Saute onion in butter or margarine. Add ground beef and brown. Drain excess grease. Add cream of chicken soup and mushrooms, salt and pepper. Cook approximately 5 minutes.
    Just before serving, add sour cream and heat thoroughly. I add poppy seed when I add the soup and mushrooms. Serve with rice or noodles. Serves approximately 6.
