Strawberry Sherbet - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 C strawberries, mashed
    2 C sugar
    2 C buttermilk
Preparation
    Combine strawberries and sugar. Beat well with an electric mixer. Stir in buttermilk. Pour into an 8-inch square pan. Freeze mixture until slushy. Beat well with mixer. Return to freezer and freeze until firm.
