Ingredients

2 1/2 to 3 c. sugar
rind of 2 lemons, cut in thin strips
1/8 tsp. salt
1 c. water
juice of 6 lemons
Preparation

Boil sugar, water and lemon rind for 5 minutes.
Cool.
Add juice of lemons.
Bottle and place in refrigerator.
Use 2 tablespoons syrup to 1 glass ice water.
