Toffee Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 sticks margarine (room temperature)
1 c. light brown sugar, firmly packed
1 egg yolk
2 c. flour
5 (1.55 oz.) plain Hershey bars
nuts, chopped
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Cream the margarine and brown sugar. Add egg yolk and flour.
Spread in a large, glass 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until barely brown.
Don't overbake.
Lay the Hershey bars on top of hot cake as soon as removed from oven. Spread chocolate over whole cake.
Sprinkle with chopped nuts.
Cut before cooled.
