Cuppa Cake(English War Time Cake) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. raisins
    1 c. currants (optional)
    4 oz. margarine
    1 c. water
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    2 c. flour
    2 eggs
Preparation
    Put raisins, currants, margarine and water in saucepan.
    Bring to a boil and boil for 5 minutes.
    Remove from heat.
    Add sugar, baking powder and flour.
    Lastly, add eggs and beat well.
    Pour mixture into two 1-pound loaf tins or one 2-pound loaf tin or any old tin, greased and lined.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 20 minutes for 2-pound tin, 40 minutes for 1-pound tin.
    Cool in tins; turn out on wire rack.
