Spinach Toss - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. salad oil
    1/3 c. sugar
    1 small onion, quartered
    3 Tbsp. vinegar
    2 tsp. prepared mustard
    1/2 tsp. celery seed
    6 slices bacon (optional)
    6 c. torn spinach
    1 c. sliced fresh mushrooms
    2 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
Preparation
    To make dressing, use a blender container.
    Combine oil, sugar, onion, vinegar, mustard and celery seed.
    Cover and blend until smooth.
    Keep covered and chill.
    In a skillet, fry bacon until crisp; drain and crumble.
    In a large salad bowl, combine spinach, mushrooms, eggs and bacon.
    Pour dressing over salad; toss lightly.
