Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. cooking oil
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 1/4 tsp. vanilla
3 c. diced, pared apples
1/2 to 1 c. chopped walnuts (optional)
1 Tbsp. flour
2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation

Beat together the oil, sugar, eggs and vanilla.
Sift together 2 cups flour, salt and baking soda.
Add dry ingredients, beating well after each addition.
Stir in apples.
Combine walnuts and 1 tablespoon flour; stir into batter.
Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
Cool; spread with the following topping.
