Sourdough Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    1 1/2 c. hot water
    1 c. Sourdough Starter
    4 c. flour
    2 tsp. sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    1 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in water; add 1 cup starter and 4 cups flour, sugar and salt.
    Cover with cloth, let rise in warm place until double in size.
    Then mix 1 cup flour and soda.
    Stir this into dough, adding enough flour to make a stiff dough.
    Knead on a flour dusted board until smooth and shiny.
    Shape dough into half loaf sizes; place in greased bread pans.
    Place in warm place until again doubled in size.
    Bake in a 400\u00b0 oven for 30 to 35 minutes. Brush top with melted butter.
