Spoon Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. cornmeal
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    2 1/2 c. milk, scalded
    2 Tbsp. melted butter or margarine
    2 eggs
    2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    In a large bowl, combine cornmeal, flour and salt.
    Stir in scalded milk. Beat well to prevent lumping.
    Add butter and eggs and beat thoroughly until mixture is smooth.
    Sprinkle baking powder over top and quickly beat in.
    Pour into greased 1 1/2-quart casserole.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
    Serve at once.
    Makes 6 servings.
