Orange Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 whole oranges, chopped
    1 box raisins, chopped
    2 c. brown sugar
    4 eggs
    3 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. baking powder
    4 c. flour
    1 c. butter
    1 1/2 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar; add eggs.
    Beat.
    Sift dry ingredients alternately with milk and chopped oranges and raisins.
    Bake in moderate oven at 350\u00b0.
    Makes a large cake (4 layers).
