Mamma'S Lemon Meringue Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 Tbsp. cornstarch
    4 Tbsp. flour
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 c. water
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 egg yolks
    juice of 1 lemon
    2 Tbsp. confectioners sugar
    2 egg whites
    baked pie shell
Preparation
    Heat 1 1/2 cups water.
    Mix flour, cornstarch, sugar, salt and 1/2 cup cold water.
    Gradually add mixture to hot water and cook until thick and transparent.
    Add beaten egg yolks and cook 5 minutes.
    Add butter, lemon rind and juice.
    Mix well.
    Cool entirely before pouring into baked and cooled pie shell.
