Oyster Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 bunch green onions
    2 medium white onions
    1 small jalapeno pepper
    1/2 stick butter
    6 cloves garlic
    1/2 c. parsley
    1/2 tsp. thyme
    3 doz. oysters and juice
    2 qt. whole milk
    1 tsp. black pepper
    pinch of crab boil
    1 to 2 c. water
Preparation
    Chop white and green onions and pepper. Saut in 1/2 cup butter. When lightly browned, add parsley and thyme. Add the minced garlic last. Using 6-quart container, combine the sauted mixture, oysters and juice with enough water for the mixture to cook. Cover and gently cook the oysters and seasoning for 1 hour. When the oysters are done, scald 2 quarts of milk. Stir the milk into the oysters, 1 cup at a time.
