Heavenly Onions - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large sweet onions
    2 tsp. butter
    1/2 lb. grated Swiss cheese
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1/2 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. soy sauce
    French bread
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Slice onions and separate rings.
    Saute in butter.
    Simmer in heavy pan over low heat.
    Stir frequently until clear.
    Turn into 1 1/2-quart baking dish.
    Top with 1/2 pound grated Swiss cheese. Sprinkle with pepper.
