Ingredients

3 c. milk
1 1/4 c. sugar
3 egg yolks
salt
2 heaping tsp. cornstarch
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Bring 3 cups milk and sugar to a boil.
Mix together the egg yolks, salt, cornstarch and 1 cup milk; add to hot mixture, cooking and stirring until thick.
Cool.
Add the vanilla.
Put into large casserole.
