Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs, well beaten
    1 stick butter, melted
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. Karo white syrup
    1 tsp. vanilla
    dash salt
    1 c. pecans, chopped
    1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust
Preparation
    Melt butter, add to sugar.
    Stir until sugar is dissolved. Add well beaten eggs.
    Then add Karo, vanilla and salt.
    Add pecans last.
    (Can use halves, but chopped makes it easier to cut.)
    I use food processor to fluff eggs.\tBake at 350\u00b0 until middle does not shake, about 45 minutes.
    Secret is not to cook too long. Also freezes well.
