Black Walnut Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. milk
    1 1/2 egg yolks
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. black walnuts
    1/4 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. flour
Preparation
    Mix everything except walnuts in a double boiler.
    Place over medium heat and cook until thick.
    (Add cornstarch, if needed to thicken.)
    Add walnuts.
    Pour in baked pie crust.
    Add meringue and brown.
