Italian Beef - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large sliced onion
    4 to 5 lb. beef (arm or chuck roast)
    2 c. water
    1 tsp. each: fennel, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt and oregano
    1/2 tsp. each: nutmeg, pepper and parsley
    1/4 tsp. allspice
    2 bay leaves
    2 beef bouillon cubes
Preparation
    Put in a deep pan and bake at 300\u00b0 for 4 to 5 hours.
    Serve on sandwich buns.
