Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 c. milk
2 c. pure cane syrup
4 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
Preparation

Cream
butter
until
soft.
Add
sugar and blend well. Add eggs
and
mix.
Add
milk, syrup, flour, soda and spices; mix until well blended.
Pour into 9 x 13 x 2-inch greased pan which has been lined with greased waxed paper.
