Open-Face Broccoli Sandwich - cooking recipe
Ingredients

fresh broccoli
1 slice bread
cheese (Cheddar or Muenster works well)
Preparation

Steam enough broccoli to cover a piece of bread; cook to desired tenderness (not mushy).
Toast a slice of bread, then butter it, placing toast on cookie sheet or small pan.
Place cooked broccoli on top of toast and salt it.
Top with sliced or grated cheese, not more than 1/4 inch thick.
Put in oven or toaster oven until cheese melts.
Serve hot.
