Chocolate Chewy Critters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
    1/2 c. butter, softened
    2 Tbsp. milk
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    approximately 120 pecan halves
    15 vanilla caramels, cut in half lengthwise
    1 c. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Cream the sugar and butter.
    Add the milk and vanilla, then stir in the flour and salt.
    On an ungreased cookie sheet, arrange 4 pecan halves at right angles to one another.
    Divide the dough into 30 equal parts.
    Form each piece of dough around a piece of caramel, covering the candy completely.
    Press each one firmly on a cluster of pecan halves. Bake for 12 to 14 minutes or until firm.
    Cool completely on a rack.
